Please help identify this M1 helmet!

Hey there! I was hoping anybody that stumbles across this post may be able to help me identify this M1 pot helmet I’ve acquired. Information regarding identifying these things seems rather scarce across the internet, but perhaps here I may find luck. By the way, the photo of that seam is located on the rear of the shell. Thanks for all of your help!

As mentioned by Reforger, this is not a U.S. helmet. It is what U.S. collectors refer to as a Euroclone helmet. These were made in different European countries and based their design on the U.S. M-1.

Looks like a Austrian Bundesheer helmet to me.

I figured it couldn’t have been from the US at the price I paid for it. It also came with another liner from Belgium, dated 1985. I guess that works with with the story of it being Austrian as well. Thanks to both of you very much for your help. Have a great day!
