sundance Posted April 17, 2020 Share #9 Posted April 17, 2020 That's a beauty. Great also to have a family connection. I'd love to own a Luger or P-38 but alas, no pistol permit. I do however have really nice WW2 hard shell holsters for each with replica pistols.
Brig Posted April 18, 2020 Share #10 Posted April 18, 2020 Photo is better than the pistol!
skypilot6670 Posted April 18, 2020 Share #11 Posted April 18, 2020 That photo is the coolest ever. What a great expression. Thanks for posting. The pistol is the icing on the cake. Mike
T Ambrosini Posted April 18, 2020 Share #12 Posted April 18, 2020 No kidding, that picture is priceless! Looks like the end of a Thompson barrel pointed toward his chest... The P-38 is great as well. I have one (byf 43) with capture papers... The pistol is secured and the capture paperwork is around here somewhere..... Tom

M24 Chaffee Posted April 19, 2020 Share #16 Posted April 19, 2020 Very cool pistol and great photos! My Father told me that he was going to bring back a couple of Lugers and a couple of P-38’s but my Mother (they were engaged at the time) said that she didn’t want weapons in their house. So he sold them on the troop ship during the trip home. Frank
