I picked up these recently and thought I would share. Pigeon material is pretty cool and not all that easy to find (for me at least)

Thanks for sharing! Is that a collar brass? For pigeon handlers in the Signal Corps? Super cool! Never knew these were around! I knew they used pigeons, but never thought of the handlers being actually pigeon specialists! :) I would suppose those are kind of rare?

As a follow up to this thread I recently picked up this neat set of buttons relating to pigeons in service. I wonder if racing pigeons were donated to the military the same way that dogs were (Dogs for Defense)
