triplecanopy Posted April 13, 2020 #1 Posted April 13, 2020 Medals of America is a military insignia business started by an retired Army Officer in 1976. They are still in operation and are located in South Carolina. Their address is: Medals of America 114 Southchase Boulevard Fountain Inn, SC 29644 They offer medals, insignia and badges for all services. From my research I found that they made a few parachute wings in Sterling Silver. Here is a set of basic jump wings hallmarked M-37 with the the very attractive hallmark with the eagle shield and banner. Sterling badges made by them have not been available in over 10 years, so I consider myself fortunate to have found these. Shown here is the reverse side. I will post the front side below so you can see the quality of manufacture.
triplecanopy Posted April 13, 2020 Author #2 Posted April 13, 2020 These jump wings are high quality and die struck. I don't know if they made a senior and master in Sterling, but I will keep looking.
triplecanopy Posted April 13, 2020 Author #3 Posted April 13, 2020 Here is a slightly different logo for Medals of America
triplecanopy Posted August 7, 2023 Author #5 Posted August 7, 2023 The Medals of America insignia are of the highest quality and both the Sterling CIB and Basic Jump wings are noticeably thicker than most standard badges.
