Usmc211192 Posted April 13, 2020 Share #1 Posted April 13, 2020 Good morning guys. I recently bought a early rivet style USMC haversack and it was missing the end tip on the top shelter half strap. I bought a 5/8 ball tip to put on it so I can make it functional only because I could find a square tip one and I didnt want to risk destroying one on one of my parts packs. How do you put these on exactly? There isnt anything anywhere on the internet that I could find about how to put one of these on the right way. Usmc211192 Posted April 14, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted April 14, 2020 Do you hammer or squeeze it somewhat flat before you put the strap into how do you get the strap to take its flat shape back once you roll it to fit in the end?
