Wonder if Mr. McFarlen got struck by a 9mm bullet in the helmet? Thats one helluva ding on a hard piece of steel.

Got this pic in Lubbock a long time ago. Labeled as California Desert, 1942. All in the pic are named. Bet we could figure out who this crew is considering the owner is Florida Kaufman.

Not from WWII, but from Korea, 1953.  Though the helmet itself and maybe even the Camo Cover worn by this Marine in all probability will be from WWII.
