Just picked these up recently! Colors are still pretty vibrant. One thing I immediately noticed is that the p42 pants are extremely light and kind of flimsy compared to the p44's. Is this normal for these?

I apologize for the horizontal photos I have no idea what happened, normally posts with original format somehow the format changed.

They feel like a thinner material but are just as durable as the P41 material if not the same.

Thanks Robin. Couldn't believe how light they were at first, for some reason the jacket feels a ton heavier than the pants

@Beer Dragon and b_hinch: Thank you!

How do you all store these uniforms to preserve them and prevent them from fading, molding or deteriorating?

I just put them in cedar lined closet in my house and have no problems. I’m sure someone on here will have a much longer answer.

@ Kurt Barickman: I agree 100%! They are my favorite uniform as well.

@ Mike Korea: Thanks Mike. The book grunt gear mentions that only 120,000 of them were made. No wonder why they are scarce nowadays.

The question is now you own the set how are you going to display and enjoy them ?

After you answer that then the question can be fully answered
