As Bob said, RVN made and 100% good. There are many versions of this patch, made in Japan, Thailand, RVN, and the US. I have about a dozen examples and I'm sure there are a dozen more out there.

IT appears to me to be a repro, seen listed on EBAY. I was in the 366th TFW, CES, 1969-70.

 

As Randy noted above, it was not uncommon for units that were stationed in theater over several years and rotations of personnel to have patches come from multiple sources. Sometimes they looked very different from each other. This one has a lot of indicators that it is Vietnamese made during the wartime period.

 

You are correct to caution people about what they are seeing on eBay. The 366th TFW is a commonly reproduced patch mainly because of the appeal of its design.
