This was a somewhat recent find in an antique mall in Normal Illinois while visiting some family there in January. Everything pictured was found all together in a small box and for a great price. Did some digging but didn't find a ton. Richard Hoswer served from April 24th 1942 to November 14th 1945 in France, Germany, and possibly England. He lived and passed away in Normal, which is of course where I found this grouping. hoping to find more info on Richard P. Howser and his service, and any help is appreciated!

Other than his draft card and obituary, these were the only things I could really find on his service

Nice group. Everything looks period except for the American Campaign Medal. That one looks like a later replacement.

The German tinnie is for the 1st of May, 1936 Labor Day celebration. These were produced in large numbers. If you brush it with a plastic brush (don't use a wire brush!) under some running water, you may be able to get some of the zinc corrosion off.
