Pics of great Uncle's WWI dog tags, looking for info on his service

Hello! I have these dog tags from my great Uncle Bill (William McCutcheon). No one in my family knows much about his service. He was from Ohio, married with no children, so it has been difficult to learn about him. Can anyone help me learn more about his service from the info on these tags? I would appreciate any help.

A quick search finds 4 William McCutcheon from Ohio. Do you know where in Ohio he was from?

He was in Co C, 319th Field Signal Battalion. 1973955 was his serial #
