sfcollector Posted April 3, 2020 Share #5 Posted April 3, 2020 Mr. Chatt is correct - it is Special Forces related. It is a patch either awarded to the participants, and/or worn by the instructors, of a 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) Counter Insurgency training course conducted in Okinawa, Japan, in the early 1970's. This is a variation of this patch. The other variation is embroidered and made in Japan.
