I spent a few hours quarantining myself on the third floor of the local AN store rummaging through boxes of M1910 canteens sadly no 1941 canteens found plenty of 1918 through 1962 dated canteens...one box was full of 52 dated Mirro canteens and one 62 Mirro A few of the 1918 canteens were marked with the stamping with a vertical orientation down the back... if anyone is looking for a certain maker or year I will be more than happy to go back and look for you...
