dustin Posted March 29, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 29, 2020 Theres been a lot of scuttlebutt about the M3 lately. I ran across this document while rummaging in some files and thought I would post it.
sundance Posted March 29, 2020 Share #2 Posted March 29, 2020 A little difficult to read. Could you get in a little closer and perhaps take 2 shots, one of the top half of the page and the other of the bottom? Thanks.

husk Posted April 8, 2020 Share #7 Posted April 8, 2020 What I find more interesting is the issuance of the M4 in ETO. A few years back many still thought it had not seen action there until period photos were posted documenting it.
Doctorofwar Posted April 8, 2020 Share #8 Posted April 8, 2020 Agree with husk, also of note is the mention of M8A1 scabbards with the M4 at this point in the war as opposed to M8s.
sactroop Posted April 9, 2020 Share #9 Posted April 9, 2020 July of 44 is an overlap month including the manufacture of M3 knives and M4 bayonets as well as M8 and M8A1 scabbards. Considering that along with different stockings at supply points, IMHO, it would be hard to make an absolute division of these pieces.
