F 106 Pilot Posted January 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 11, 2009 I found this sterling pin recently I know it is a home front pin. I think it is from WWI but would like some confirmation. Was that a slogan for the first World War. Thank you for your help. Ben

Homefrontguy Posted January 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 11, 2009 It is from WW2. There were six different slogan tools and were sold in sets of three on a card called the Tools of Victory. In addition to yours (pitchfork) and Axe the Axis (axe), there was also, Pick at the Heart of the Axis (pick ), Bury a Japanese (shovel) , Mop up Japan (mop) and one other I cant recall.
