15th Air Force jacket good?

Recommended Posts

Got this jacket yesterday at the Salvation Army store. The jacket is made by Palm Beach Suits, could that be right, Named in collar, Becker. A nice bullion 15th Air Force patch. The light weight material is starting to separate in spots. What do you think? I do not think the wings are right size. Thanks Steve

If you paid Salvation Army prices, I'd be happy to double your money. Nice custom jacket with shirt size wings added. Interesting to see the left sleeve isn't patched, and too bad not more than Becker to go off.

Italian made patch..nothing wrong or "suspect" with the uniform.

The tropical weight wool uniforms were worn but not seen as much in my opinion.

Thanks for your info. There is no sign of a patch ever being on the left shoulder. Steve

Also this was a cut down from a 4 pocket to a wist jacket or " Ike " jacket

the wide belted waist is often a indication of a tailored jacket cut down from a standard issue 4 pocket uniform.
