5th Med Bn uniform ID help

Hello,

 

Im fairly new to researching named uniform that I have, and Im needed some tips and help with finding out if a uniform I obtained actually belongs to a 5th ID combat medic. Ive traced the uniform, through the laundry number, to a Milton D. Auster (ASN 36161320). Can anyone help me confirm whether, or not, he was a combat medic for the 5th ID?
