mikie Posted March 23, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2020 I saw this truck coming up behind me yesterday. It was up and passed before I could grab my phone. Sorry for lack of detail, but was wondering what truck it was. Thanks. Mikie

everforward Posted March 23, 2020 Share #5 Posted March 23, 2020 I'll second it on the Dodge WC-51 call....looks like the one my friend had years ago...usually they have a canvas top on the back end, this one just shows the bows.
mikie Posted March 23, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted March 23, 2020 It was pretty cool seeing it in my rearview mirror. It took me by surprise. Not something I see everyday. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it. Mikie
robinb Posted March 24, 2020 Share #7 Posted March 24, 2020 Small gas cap and cast iron tie down hooks makes it a 1942 model.
tractor Posted March 25, 2020 Share #8 Posted March 25, 2020 Wharf master Wc doesn't stand for weapons carrier so you know. W was the designation for 1941 trucks and the designation carried on past 41 and c 1/2 ton even though 42-45 trucks that where over 1/2 ton used them. So you know trying to be informative
