Another great video. Like being there - again. The present serenity of Omaha Beach today compared to D-day is almost surreal. Thanks. Keep up the good work. Bobgee

Thanks! Appreciate that. Ever since I've left, I just want to go back.

Right..?? The area has that effect on you. ;)

Our first stop once in Sector Omaha was WN 60. It was a nice day and you could see the whole length of the beach. Quite a vista.

I think that WN60 gets easily overlooked, which is one reason why I wanted to feature it. Even on YouTube, you don't see much about it. I think that most hit the bunkers of WN 62 instead (which is in the next video that comes out on Thursday). But you're right. WN60 does offer quite the view of the beach.

Enjoyed the video, please keep up the great work!

Camera perspective and conversational style makes me feel like I'm walking the beach with you.

Looking forward to more from Omaha Beach.

I'll be going to that exact spot in the video that I'm posting tomorrow. My intention was to visit his grave as well but there had been a TON of rain there in the days before and most of the cemetery was roped off.

Thanks! Appreciate that. Right now, I'm on a rhythm of posting every Monday and Thursday. Got some pretty exciting places to see in the coming weeks.
