Orgone Posted January 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 11, 2009 They are from the First World War. As far as I know they were issued to all or most shipyard workers as a form of ID. I believe these were government issued badges. The shipbuilding companies also issued their own forms of ID badges. During WW2 shipyard workers wore a red SHIPS FOR VICTORY pin, but they were not a form of ID. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
