24th_infantry Posted March 20, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 20, 2020 I ended up buying a bunch of uniforms from a museum that recently closed. This grouping is from an army nurse. The first uniform is the early war blue uniform. The other is a complete nurse dress uniform but it is a British female jacket and skirt. The ribbon bar is also British made. Both uniforms are in mint condition and named. Hopefully I can do some research on her and find some information. I picked up a bunch more female uniforms but I thought these were the most impressive.

sundance Posted March 20, 2020 Share #3 Posted March 20, 2020 Great Items. I'd love to find women's uniforms but I just don't see them. I grabbed a nurse's trunk back aways and was able to find out info about her which was very interesting. She was from my western NY area and had passed away recently. 24th_infantry Posted March 22, 2020 Author Share #10 Posted March 22, 2020 That's her! I have a Fort Devens paper for a ceremony for the women on the base. Thanks for that information! If you happen to find anything else I'd love to know. Thanks again 29navy!
