Flage that is a very nice Canteen cover. Very neat. I don’t know if I’ve seen one made in that type of material. Thanks for showing.

All the rest of you "non-Canteen collectors" (you guys have some superb stuff): would you agree that the appeal of Canteen rigs

is something beyond explanation? Last count around here was 85 complete rigs; the only reason I haven't attempted a group shot

is that I'd have to pull a lot of 'em off of Belt/Pack rigs, but I may do that yet.

Thank you sir! I've only seen a small handful of these, and they were all made up at Jeffersonville.

Naturally, I have it hanging on a "Meese, Inc. 1942" Rucksack which is made of the same stuff. Meese and Simmons are the only

Rucksacks I've seen to date which used this denim to fabricate their Packs.
