Airborne-Hunter Posted March 18, 2020 Share #3 Posted March 18, 2020 Theres a ww2 vet living in San Francisco who has described a patch very similar to this to me in the past. He keeps saying he has one in his possession, but I have yet to see it. He said it was for signal corps pigeon service attached to the air corps. He does not use a computer and is currently under a shelter in place order in San Francisco. I will try to show it to him. In the future. I would think very rare. I have never seen one. mortaydc60 Posted March 18, 2020 Share #5 Posted March 18, 2020 Bill you hit a real treasure. WW2 and as Bob said extremely rare. Think that Robert Wilson has one on a blanket that i wanted to get, but at time not for sale. Impressed that Bob had two; believe some article in TP on this patch and believe station in western states.
