Navy Jumper with Liberty cuffs/art

Recommended Posts

Found a jumper with some Liberty art. Any guesses on when it could be from? I've tried finding information on the tailor from the tag but haven't had much luck online. Thanks!

Pretty much going to fall into a time frame from about 1955 to 1973. Cool one though.

Those liberty cuffs have more of a 1960-70s look to them.

I was going to say, more of a mid 60s look. I love the uniform. Those blues were not that cheap. But, back in the day, you wore them all the time. He dropped most of a payday on those blues. Probably thought about it for a bit. Cheaper in Japan than the States and better quality than Hong Kong. Love them!

I remember when I was a kid, my dad was also career Navy. Wed go to the pier to pick up dad. You could tell the guys with the Custom uniforms. A bit Jauntier walk, white hat down touching one eye brow and a distinctive shape. As soon as they cleared the gate, the cuffs were rolled up and away we go! Good times.
