24th_infantry Posted March 11, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2020 I just picked up a WWII navy officer's dress blues uniform. It's named to James Allen Miles who served on the LST-517. As I was researching him I found his scrapbook which was sold sometime in the past. I wasn't sure if maybe someone on the site bought the scrapbook. If so, I would be very interested in buying it or any other items belonging to James Miles. My intention is to keep his items together because I have traveling military presentations that I take to schools and retirement homes. I appreciate any help. Thank you! I will post photos of the uniform shortly. This is the scrapbook I found. I'm not sure if the link will work. If not I will post pictures of the scrapbook too. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/day-lst-517-scrapbook-photos-letters-1927314771
