An interesting find of the then Major Charles Beckwith at the Command & General Staff College in 1965 wearing the very obsolete Crossed Arrows of the old First Special Service Force on his Class As, he doesn't seem to be wearing a shoulder patch, just a RANGER Tab, and that, along with just the Master Parachute Badge only.

This is a great photo of "Charging Charlie" and his wearing the crossed arrows as branch insignia. To be clear, the crossed arrows that he is wearing is the insignia made by Denmark in the 1960's and not WWII vintage crossed arrows of the FSSF. The feathers and the arrowheads are quite different from the WWII vintage insignia.

Thanks Allan, lets see if we can find sets to compare, interesting that at least one firm still made these well after WWII.
