The 5th Ordnance Battalion, the symbolisms make sense for an ORD unit, we'll have to look around more for more on unit.

 

To further ID period we'll need to see the rear of it.

Darn 5th Ordnance Battalion NOT listed in the TIOH, so can't tell when DI first adopted and unit info/history not found online.

Design approved 16 Mar 43 unit assigned 5th Army 1 campaign credit WW 2 (Rome-Arno)

 

No further info at this time; not listed in Capistrano, may not have been made during the war.
