917601 Posted February 27, 2020 Share #3 Posted February 27, 2020 Army AA units not much credited or mentioned by WW2 buffs...Army 40mm Bofors ordnance hard to find, Navy stuff plentiful. They were highly valued in theatres other than Germany,- Italy, North Africa, Pacific. See this video, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yCJ8WVk5IhA, shooting down two aircraft....and this pic of one in Belgium.

917601 Posted February 29, 2020 Share #5 Posted February 29, 2020 For the Ordnance guys, a 1944 dated Army clip, with three Navy crimped rounds and one Army 1944 M81 Bofors round, stab crimped. Notice the " stab " crimp is used on the Army Bofors rounds, and the Army uses a differently marked case, no Anchor, but just marked M25 denoting an Army case. Army Bofors rounds hard to find here, I aquired the Army clip and round from an EU collector where they are easier to find.
