patches Posted February 24, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2020 What are Troops? Nurses? Photo was posted in one of the FB Groups I belong to without a caption or description, New York City Neighborhoods, indicating a photo taken somewhere in NYC during WWI, hard to tell, Army nurses? but didn't they have opened collars, these look like choakers, and if so was there a training post for Army Nurses located in NYC in WWI, FT Wadsworth Ft Totten etc etc. Thanks in Advance. patches Posted February 25, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted February 25, 2020 Thanks Wharf, here's a display of one at the smithstoninan, the one on the left, but it's red cross outdoors one, doesn't seem like it, though the photo is small, the front seems to be closed off to the side with a row of buttons maybe on the othr sde too, the pne in the disply buttons down front.
