HelmetguyCT Posted February 20, 2020 Author Share #7 Posted February 20, 2020 Nice helmet! Anything written in the liner by the German or the Gi who captured it? Paul Nothing on the inside unfortunately. I believe it is a field repaint as the early m-35 Apple green paint is underneath the field grey. Has a great patina to it and full liner and original chinstrap
bigschuss Posted February 20, 2020 Share #8 Posted February 20, 2020 Nice M35 reissue. Also a good reminder that not every war souvenir came home with the front line vet who killed the German and took it off his body as many collectors are so want to believe. Much of this stuff came home with the guys who were in the rear with the gear.
