Hello from Massachusetts

Recommended Posts

Hi, glad I was excepted into the group. I currently collect pretty much all militaria US and Foreign. I supply some of the local film makers with equipment and weapons for thier movies.

The stuff I collect are usually the oddball items I find mostly at local Surplus stores but they are getting scarce. I try and find stuff online although the prices are good in most cases shipping can be a factor if i buy or not.

I am hoping to see what is out there and what people collect maybe get some info on some of the stuff I can't identify or maybe finding items I need to complete some of my projects.

Hopefully in the near future I'll find a military vehicle to restore and drive.

Welcome. There are still operating surplus stores in your area? I'm in western NY and they are all long gone. I remember several locally as a kid. I'd love to travel back in time to visit them 1 more time. I remember buying a 16 inch Garand bayo with scabbard and I couldn't have paid more than $15. Sadly I gave it away before I got interested in militaria.
