WW2 Marines at play official photo 1st Prov Mar Brig

I believe this a WW2 photo from the foot wear, boon dockers? Shows Marines doing a piggy back race.

 

I don't think this is Korean War, so if someone can confirm this, that would be great.

 

Back is stamped, Official Marine Corps Photo, by Sgt. E.H. Nierenberg, Photo Sec., 1st Prov. Mar Brig

 

Size: 7.5 in x 9.5 in.

 

Additional info on possibly where this was shot and the Marine who took it.
