CLEANING JAPANESE SILK WWII BANNERS

I've acquired some gorgeous large 72+ inches long Japanese "Going to War" banners, and am always worried about moths and so want to clean them.

Some of the kanji on the banners are hand-painted, so I cannot hand wash, and dubious about local (even top-notch) local ecological cleaners.

I really don't want to frame them, but maybe the best solution....

Ideas?
