77th Inf. Div. Posted January 28, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2020 Hello all, I recently picked up this framed medal grouping with some paperwork and other items from Technical Sergeant Albert F. Hoffman and am looking for information on him as online searches did not turn up much that I could find. I am especially interested in the pair of airborne wings that are part of the medal group. Thanks to everyone in advance for their help with this. 77th Inf. Div.

lettow Posted January 29, 2020 Share #4 Posted January 29, 2020 There is only one Albert F Hoffman in the Muster Rolls. He served with the Second Parachute Battalion, First Parachute Regiment in WWII.
lettow Posted January 29, 2020 Share #5 Posted January 29, 2020 He was from NJ. There is a picture of him in a newspaper clipping on newspapers.com. Search his name and USMC and you will find it. He was an airborne instructor also.
