Bomber Control Yoke finds—can any experts ID?

Recommended Posts

Hi, much respect to all-- these yokes were found in the attic of a 100+ year old casting factory here in Los Angeles that held accounts with Boeing and other wartime manufacturers. My untrained eye leads me to A-26 and B-26 comparisons and the "Arctic Circle" insignia I'm assuming may refer to WW2 battles in that region. But alas, I have no idea. Any help would be majorly appreciated.

If any collector needs em please let me know! Thanks!

The second Image has a set of numbers. The second set looks to be, B24A. So maybe a B-24

Thanks very much! Didn't notice that "B24" in that string... may very well be. I've never been on the forum before, assuming I inherited someone's handle? Any how many thanks--going to give these away if any one wants them thanks!!!

I don't think a B-24 would have nose gun trigger and bomb release on the yoke/wheel. Compare photos of the cockpits of the various planes through google.
