CW4AFB Posted January 26, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2020 This knife was recently found in Wales by a friend of a friend who thought it might come from a WWI US Army campsite ---I couldn't think of any WWI US Army units in Wales so I'm think it could be WW2----either way, the name William E. Williams is surprising common--can anybody here ID the knife to a period so at least we can narrow down the search---It could even come from a Welshman who lived in NYC for a while and returned at some point long enough to lose his knife Ideas? Suggestions? theories? regards, Al
Frank Trzaska Posted January 26, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 26, 2020 It is an advertising knife not the fellows name. William E Williams was founded in 1918 and is still in business today.
