My Buddy called me from the Goodwill store down the street trying to describe this to me over the phone, I asked how much it was and told him for $20 bucks just buy it and bring it over , I was glad he did.

there are some old papers stuck to the bottom inside , including the Ellington Field Tailspin news paper.

what is R.M.A. for , seems he may have been in the medical field, as there is a paper with a DUI with Caduces on it

316th FS 324th FG

The DUI is not a DUI. It is the crest for the Kappa Sigma fraternity. As I Kappa Sig who loves WWI and WWII aviation, that is the coolest!

Ditto... beautiful find.

Can you read any dates or places on any of the papers attached to the trunk bottom?

the only thing I could find was mention of something built in 1915 so it is from after then
