illinigander Posted January 20, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2020 I have an OD painted frag grenade (inert). I know very little about them. `on one of the frags is stamped AF and on the other side it is stamped with a G. The spoon is lettered in three lines: FUZE M10A3 Can you tell me of the era of this device? Thanks LOT EK or ®? 1-673 Illinigander
Bodes Posted January 20, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2020 It's a late WW2 fuse, so grenade sounds WW2 to Korean war vintage....Bodes
Dirt Detective Posted January 20, 2020 Share #3 Posted January 20, 2020 Sounds like the body of your Grenade was made by American Fireworks..the M10A3 fuse started seeing service in early 43, The EK stands for Eastman Kodak and the 1-673 is the lot number. Post a pic if you can
