WWII Pvt. Raymond E. Ayers - POW, Stalag VII-A

Recommended Posts

I recently picked up these tags belonging to a Pvt. Raymond E. Ayers, a prisoner in Stalag VII-A. The tags came with a January 20, 1945, letter from Pvt. Ayers to his family back home in Kansas. I haven't been able to find much information online about the private, other than his listing in the National Archives' enlistment records. Any additional information would be most appreciated.
