pinback bullion wings: CBI or WWI?

These shirt-sized wings came from a pilot who flew (likely P-38s) out of India for 16 months in 1943-44. They have a pinback and I wonder if this is indeed made in India?

thanks

I keep getting WWI wings when I do a search for these; I did some more checking up on this pilot and discovered his uncle was a pilot in WWI, so could these have been his?

Agreed with Wake1941. I've never seen that particular pattern before but the handcut roller clasp is definitely CBI. I've seen the same type of clasps on many India made ww2 wings. Very nice
