Dogsbody Posted January 16, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 16, 2020 Hi all, although I certainly can appreciate combat worn helmets and liners, unused items appeal to me just a little bit more. A case in point is this unworn Inland liner. Imo it's a great time capsule showing the condition these were in when they were issued to GI's. The leather chinstrap has a faint S stamp which leads me to believe it is either made by Scholl Mfg of Sun Shoe Mfg and It has a brown coated United Carr rivet. Captain Woody Posted January 16, 2020 Share #8 Posted January 16, 2020 That's a beauty. I'm thinking I should share my unissued pieces from my collection. I even have a stone mint CAPAC with the packing paper. I've been meaning to add a minty Inland as someone pit one up for sale here recently, but alas, currently under budgetary constraints
Burning Hazard Posted January 17, 2020 Share #9 Posted January 17, 2020 Nice minty liner, I have early St Clair, MSA, and CAPAC in that condition as well (all with unpainted A-washers) Pat
