(Must see helmet) What kind of net is it ?

Hello,

Here I will show you a 2/3 tones camo helmet that you will never see again in your life.

But my real question is : I was wondering about the net on it...it seems like it was a US ww2 net but I can't find any thing on it... it is near of 3cm * 3,5 cm and very thick...like the large pattern US ww2 net but not the same size... the paint was sprayed all over the net making this strange pattern

what do you think of it ?

It is a ww1 french Adrian helmet which was used during ww1 (see the holes for the commemorative visor plates) who were applied at the end of ww1 and then was removed probably in 40's when the helmet has been used again...you can see the ww1 grey paint in the inside. It has been used again probably in 1944-1945 maybe by a FFI (french Resistance) which change the inside of the helmet by a German ww2 liner and chistrap...the ww1 paint was recovered with a net (what kind of net is it ?) And the all sprayed with a ( probably civilian) satined/brilliant paint.

Maybe the net is also civilian...or military...tell me what you think please
