cmjordan77 Posted January 6, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2009 Hi, I found this compass and I wanted to find out if this is a WWII military item. Its circa 1930's and it is marked Marked T G Co Ltd and made of bakelite and brass with a metallic mirror on the inner lid. Compass Magnetic Marching Mark I Circa 1930's I have not purchased this yet, but I can for less than $30 if I want to at a local antique store. Is this something worth purchasing? Is it Army? Military? Thank you
artu44 Posted January 6, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 6, 2009 It's british marching compass from WWII made by Thomas Glauser and Co., Ltd. I think the price would be OK (if you're collecting allied compasses)
