USMC Emblem Assistance - Pre-WWII

I am currently organizing my Eagle, Globe, and Anchor collection for display and I am not nearly as well versed with these as others on this forum.

Can anyone help me identify these two unmarked cover emblems? My guess is the one on the left is Myers made emblem? I base that on the reverse wing feathers, but I have no idea.

Are either of these considered the "Beast" version? What era are these from?

Thank You in advance!

Geez, two incredibly nice egas. On the left-the Ellis pattern, WWI vintage. Should have a spinner on the back marked Victory if it is the spinner issued with the piece. The one on the right is the one most refer to as The Beast. Likely dates mid 20s into WWII. Show case pieces. Kevin

Kevin,

Thank You, I had no idea that the some emblem spinners were marked. I checked and the Ellis pattern's unique spinner it is marked "Patented Victory."

I appreciate you confirming these pieces.

Semper Fidelis,

Not all Ellis spinners were marked

The Beast is likely late 20s/early 30s...they're consistent with other Depression-era quality insignia
