Wonderful Christmas decoration!! Now, the rifle looks like one of the toys made in the '60s like I used to have as a kid. Is it one?

The rifle is a Parris-Dunn Mk 1 USN Dummy Training rifle. The bayonet is a chromed Model of 1905. Springfield Armory dated 1906.

May your Christmas be pointy and bright!

My take on a Christmas bayonet is rusty and dull. I bought this as a Christmas present for myself a few years ago. Best I can tell, it's a US M1807 bayonet. It's rusty and crusty and the tip is broken off, but it was cheap. And it is pretty much all I have to represent the War of 1812 era in my humble collection. And that makes it cool, at least to me!

Merry Christmas!
