Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 7, 2021 Share #177 Posted November 7, 2021 This is a strange one since it’s for a Navy organization, but uses an Air Force style badge design:

Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 10, 2021 Share #181 Posted November 10, 2021 Thamks, jmd62! Here are three Army MP badges: A huge one on the left, a standard sized one on the top right, and a small one on the bottom right (perhaps for a plaque?). Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 14, 2021 Share #185 Posted November 14, 2021 Here’s the tiny (~1”) badge shown above: It’s really pretty detailed for such a small thing.
easterneagle87 Posted November 15, 2021 Share #186 Posted November 15, 2021 Here is one I picked up today. NSA Livermore, Calif., FD Didn't realize how tarnish and corroded it was until I got home. Still a good snag.
Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 15, 2021 Share #187 Posted November 15, 2021 Always a “good snag”, Easterneagle87! This is an interesting one, some type of Army commemorative badge: It’s in the shape of the Army MP badge, but is for Combat Medics. It even includes the old and new MOS’s at the bottom. Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 18, 2021 Share #191 Posted November 18, 2021 Thanks, jmd62. I have seen several federal agencies bullion badges and, as you noted, they’re all really nicely done. Here’s an obsolete Marine Corps badge:

Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 22, 2021 Share #195 Posted November 22, 2021 Shifting gears to forestry for a bit. This is probably one of the nicest designs I’ve seen on a state forestry badge:
Tonomachi Posted November 22, 2021 Share #196 Posted November 22, 2021 Just saw this one on eBay but a little pricey. Based on the manufacture hallmark it was made between 1910 and 1925.

Cobra 6 Actual Posted November 24, 2021 Share #198 Posted November 24, 2021 Shifting to the Fire Service for awhile this is an LA promotion badge: It includes the new BC’s name on the reverse along with the date, 1931. Some officers have the eagle’s eye drilled out and a small ruby inserted. Don’t have one of those, but I have seen them. Very cool.
