This museum has been struggling for some time. Unique, but underfunded and well off the tourist areas.

I live a couple of blocks away and try and take guests there whenever we have visitors that show an interest. The place is really very special and I recommend anybody with any interest visit and head upstairs for a drink or two from the very friendly staff. I consider this a “must see” for any enthusiast when visiting Oahu.

I go to Oahu about once ever 2-3 years for a week or so and have never heard of this museum. Its on my radar now but how or why has it been such a well kept secret?

No budget for advertising, I would guess.

I’m sure it’s a low budget thing, nonetheless a must see for any military buff.

I've been going to Hawaii for over 25 years, many multiple times, and I didnt know this place existed,

 

I would have gone if I had known.
