If you happen to live close to or happen to be in the area of JBLM in WA state, the Ft. Lewis Museum is worth the stop. It underwent a major renovation last year the displays are outstanding. Lots of displays of uniforms and equipment from the Civil War on up to today. Also a nice vehicle park outside.

It sits right next to I-5 at the Dupont exit on the southern part of JBLM and is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday.

Thank you, Stony, for the review. I do live in the area and have only tried to visit once (it was closed for renovation!). Every time I drive by it on I-5, I remark that my son and I need to check it out.

Thanks for the heads up!
