mds308 Posted December 8, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2019 I know it's not GI issue but any ideas on who issued it or is it just a generic shooting match medal? This belonged to Master Sergeant James F. Pinnix who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I have not been able to find much on him except his gravesite. The medal is fairly attractive with a ladder for CARBINE. Dated on the back 10-29-57. It's 3 3/4 inches long. NRA related? Thanks for the ideas and input.
