I bought this helmet from the family but they didn't know if W.H.Wetherbee had served in the Marine Corps or Navy. I added the EGA as there is a hole that lines up with the grommet in the liner. Is it a clue as to how the name is stamped? First initials then last name; is that a Navy way of stamping or is it a USMC thing? Sometime you see the last name first then the initials last.
