hhbooker2 Posted January 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2009 Lieutenant General Philip H. Sheridan shown in a lithograph wearing 1872-1903 officer's shoulder knots, but, they were supposed to be worn only by Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, and Colonels - BUT? Who would tell one of the top Generals he could not have them made special and wear them instead of the gold epaullettes? If you have shoulder knots or pictures of them, please show them here, thanks! Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ([email protected])
